From childhood we would have heard various stories about God or rather people who are considered like God. Stories about Rama, Jesus, Buddha and so many other saints… Firstly, are they considered equivalents of God because of the miracles they exhibited? No!! They only ensured to equip and exhibit the power of the soul inside them ALWAYS. Even we would consider someone as an angel/God when they extend a timely help or exhibit their soul property right? From the day I was born, my parents had always been beside me to give me all the support whenever needed. To my eyes, they seem like God. There was a time I felt completely dejected in life and that was the time I got a friend of mine who held my hands and gave me all the support. To me, that friend is like God who lifted my life. Similarly when we lend a timely help to someone, we would have experienced them telling “God has sent you to help me in this situation”. Thus, the God- like nature exists in each of our souls and it is very essential to sharpen it and exhibit it always. Secondly, as equivalents of God, was their life a bed of roses? No, In fact they had carried more responsibilities and had to face more problematic situations than the ones we are currently facing. It is only the way they dealt those situations, made us consider them as God. So, sometimes when you feel that you have more problems than your neighbor, it means that you are getting closer to becoming divine.
Our soul in the pure state has immense powers. Powers are nothing but all the positive vibrations inside us. The major powers of soul includes: Knowledge about what is right or wrong and awareness about self and everything around us (intuition), abundant peace, empathy (means the power to understand and comprehend the other soul), un-conditional love, ever -lasting happiness, courage to withstand or destroy the external negative traits, bliss and more important the power to control our own body and mind. The more we exhibit these properties is when we give life and energy to our soul and people are called as God. At the same time each time we give space to the negative vibrations like fear, anger, guilt, hatred, jealousy, depression, sorrow, selfishness etc, is like inducing virus into our soul and ultimately the soul will get possible diseases and sometimes even reach comma stage such that you are completely conquered by the negative thoughts. In olden days, there were neither telephones nor any appliances. Yet the people were able to communicate with each other through minds and had all knowledge essential to lead a full-filled life.
So, how to ensure that we are always aligned towards soul properties?
i) First step is to check if you are AWARE OF and ALIGNED towards the purpose of your existence. The strength of the purpose lies in how many people it is benefiting.
ii) Next step is to check if you are living a life of choice or a life of compulsion. No matter whatever is the situation is, if only we can see that we are taking up the situation as a matter of choice, we are giving all the power to our soul to handle it.
iii) Living the life of dharma; which means that any decision made has to be oriented towards the purpose of existence and not on any selfish motive.
According to Law of Karma, this life has been given to us as a gift in order to nullify the scars/ diseases in our soul and add more life to our soul. This glow to the soul can be brought about only by ensuring that we look more inwards through mediation and positive affirmations. Not just the day you are born but, each and every day has to be considered as a gift and an opportunity to add more life to your soul and help your soul glow.

Please remove the name of Jesus from the list that you have given. Jesus is not a man who elevated himself to the status of God by means of some non existing positive energy inside him. He was God himself who came down from heaven in a humble human form to show us the way to live. Jesus himself told this that he came from God, so to reject this is to call him liar. He suffered all things but he never sinner. He was persecuted for speaking the truth but never sinned. He was finally killed by this world that cannot tolerate truth. But he was the only one who rose from dead. All those men whom you consider as God never did that. This shows the limitation of man, he can never win death.
What you have posted here resembles some teachings of Buddha. You can replace Jesus with Buddha here to make your post more accurate.
Christianity does not preach on inner positive energy. God has put inside every human a soul and spirit. Soul is our emotion and spirit is our conscience. The first time we tell a lie, we feel our conscience but gradually when we start repeating and living in Sin we keep hurting our conscience and it becomes numb with callus. Human emotion is the one that you are speaking here, when you see your parents doing good to you, you get emotionally connected to them and see them as God. This is just like a Dog that shows gratitude for the one who gives biscuit. But because I fed the Dog does not make me God or a good person. Human emotion has power and that is what makes you serve your parents or your parents serve you. By human emotion we cannot love everyone just like how a dog will lick someone who feeds it but bites someone who attacks it. An emotional human is also like this Dog only no matter how much life he adds to soul. Also the presence of emotion will not make the Dog a spiritual animal. Only human being have this spirit or conscience. All the Positive things that you talk here are only emotional (soulish) religious things that can bring some kind of satisfaction. But can never lead to God. To lead to God we need to become spiritual again. Repent from our hard hearted conscience and turn to God. Ask him to give us a tender conscience. Ask him to forgive us by the blood of his Son whom he has given as a sacrifice for our sins. There is no other way to get forgiveness of our sins.
If a person truly turns to God, repenting from his soulish (emotional) life then he will see his conscience becoming tender again. I have seen it in my life that my conscience became tender once again. God does this magic. He also gives us his Spirit so that we will know how to live like Jesus and can walk in that way. This is the gospel, the only way to Salvation.
Ive tried to see the good about everything around me and seeing god in all the ppl who exhibit their goodness. And definitely wen a dog thinks to b so grateful to the person who feeds it, I guess human with more senses than a dog should show more gratitude to their parents who hv been raising up since u wer born. And it is not wrong if the gratitude reaches to the stage of acknowledging the god in the other person. Its true that Jesus told he came from god and so are all of us.
Why is it so difficult to remove Jesus from that list. He clearly said that he is equal with God, he is not like us, he is like a rich man who one day decides to come and live in slums to show the people how to live. The rich man still has his credit card but chooses not to use it. Same way Jesus is God and cannot stop being God, but he choose not to use his divine power and came to earth like a normal human struggling in all his ways yet without Sin, to show the perfect life to us. He is not one who elevated to God status by the merit of his life. So you are wrong when you put Jesus in the list. How will you get hurt when someone includes you in the list of terrorists? Same way it is hurting to see Jesus being used and included in a list in which he does not belong.
Secondly I never said your standard is wrong, I only said that you preach a standard that can even be achieved by an animal that has emotions. It is equal to teaching your child to walk with hands, though it is also a way to walk, it is a way under utilization of her legs. How hurting will it be to you, if your daughter keeps walking by Hands at the age of 20? Same way God will be hurt when he sees people degrading to the level of animals by living an emotional life when they can truly become spiritual. It is fine for babies to walk with hands but not for a mature person to walk by hands. That is why I have put the Christian standard in my previous post which is a way higher mature standard preached by the true living God himself. Hope I made the point clear.
